This smoothie is dark green, refreshing and delicious. I really like all of the bright colors of the stems of rainbow chard. This smoothie is a great way to get a lot of nutrition without even thinking about it!
Makes 2 large-sized smoothies
- 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
- 2 bunches swiss chard large stems removed
- 10 oz coconut water
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 tbsp organic flax seed meal
- 1 frozen banana peeled and cut into chunks
Combine all of the ingredients in your blender and puree until pulverized.
