Please see my review of the passionfruit I recently ordered from Miami Fruit. This passionfruit smoothie recipe is possibly the best smoothie I have tasted yet! This recipe pairs sweeter fruits with passionfruit balancing out the tartness of the passionfruit. Enjoy!
Serves: 2 adults
- 8 passionfruit (not the outside just the pulp and seeds from the inside)
- 4 frozen bananas
- 2 dates pitted
- 1 cup light coconut milk
- ¼ – ½ cups ice if your bananas aren’t frozen or you want the smoothie very cold
Wash and cut the passionfruit in half and scoop out the seeds and pulp. Peel your frozen bananas (I use a knife to cut the peel off). Add the passionfruit seeds and pulp, frozen bananas, dates, coconut milk, and optional ice to your blender and blend well. Spoon some unblended passionfruit on top if you like and serve immediately.
